Oscars: Octavia Spencer Cleans Up; Your Complete Guide of 2012 Winners
Last night was the 2012 Academy Awards. Unlike the Grammys, which all but throws open the doors for weirdness with its medleys and awkward collaborations, the Oscars is a bit more planned and managed down to the minute. Sunday night was full of celebrating Hollywood’s elite to Hollywood’s up and coming artists. Even though some moments were predictable, the night still held a few surprises for views.
Special congratulations to Octavia Spencer for receiving the award for Best Supporting Actress, for her role in The Help. This was her first nomination and win. We are very excited for Miss Spencer! She is the 5th black actress to win for Best Actress In A Supporting Role.
Also, shout out to the cast and team of ‘Undefeated’ for winning Best Documentary Feature. We can’t wait until it comes to the big screen.
Congrats to all of the winners!
