White Comedian Grills BYU Students On Black History Month; Did He Take It Too Far? (VIDEO)
An interesting video has been making its way across the net over the past few days, featuring comedian Dave Ackerman (yeah, we don’t know who he is either) in blackface on the campus of Brigham Young University, asking its students what they know about Black History Month.
In the first few seconds of the 4-minute video, you may get upset witnessing his transition into the blackface makeup, but you quickly forget that when listening to the BYU students’ answers to his Black History Month questions and their general opinions on African American culture.
Although this may not have been the best approach, Ackerman’s stunt sends a resounding message of the ignorance that still exists among pockets of whitewashed American communities.
