Just a week after announcing his support of Obama and equality, Jay-Z is giving us yet another reason to appreciate his gangster by releasing the musician lineup for what is being deemed Phase 1 of the Budweiser ‘Made in America’ Music Festival.

Yesterday evening, the much anticipated who’s who of the event was announced on the ‘Made in America’ Facebook page. Exhibiting Jay’s appreciation for fresh new talent and underrated alternative staples, the lineup includes the Hov himself alongside Pearl Jam as the co-headliners for both days of the event, Skrillex, Miike Snow, Afrojack, Calvin Harris, Odd Future, D’Angelo, Maybach Music (Rick Ross, Wale, Meek Mill), Passion Pit, Santigold, Dirty Projectors, X, Janelle Monae, Prince Royce, Rita Ora, Savoy, and The Knocks. More acts are expected to be announced.

Papa Carter’s new venture with Budweiser will take place Labor Day Weekend (Sept. 1st & 2nd) and will include the above artists and more from genres of music including Hip-Hop, Rock, R&B, Latin, and Dance. All for a good cause, proceeds from the festival will go to the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey.

Tickets, starting at $99, go on sale at 10AM on Wednesday, May 23rd. For more information, visit Ticketmaster or Live Nation.

Sounds like a good time. Will you be there?
