From Prune Juice Media– President Obama may be in shaky territory with some voting blocs, but there are a few that offer rock solid support.
Latinos, much like African-Americans, have offered the president a commitment like none other in the voting booth. The latest NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Telemundo poll shows Latino support for President Obama at 61 percent versus 27 percent for Mitt Romney.
This news, however, is not a surprise to me for a few reasons.
First, the Obama campaign has done an excellent job of communicating with Latino and Spanish-speaking communities throughout his term. Even in the campaign cycle, they have released several TV ads to play up his strengths in this community in battleground states. The president has wanted to address the issue of illegal immigration, but still respect all parties in the process.
