Hard In The Paint: 2012 NBA Finals, Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder – Who You Got?
Tonight the Miami Heat will face-off against the Oklahoma City Thunder for the 2012 NBA Finals. Everyone is going to be watching to see who would become victorious.
Both teams are packed with talent that could easily walk away with the championship. The Heat features three-time MVP LeBron James, seeking his first title, and fellow All-Stars Dwyane Wade and even Chris Bosh making a comeback after his injury. The Thunder offers three-time scoring champion Kevin Durant, athletic point guard Russell Westbrook and James Harden, the NBA’s sixth man of the year.
Although everyone is expecting it to be a one man show down, Durant tells the AP otherwise.
“Everybody is going to make the most out of the matchup of me versus LeBron, but it’s the Thunder versus the Heat,” Durant said Monday. “One guy versus another guy, it’s not going to be a 1-on-1 matchup to win the series, it’s going to be all about the team.”
With all things never being even, what factors will determine the outcome? Referees, egos, home court advantage, Centers, Power Forwards, Shooting Guards, starting line up, bench and again EGOS.
