Ugly Politics: Mitt Romney Believes ’47 Percent’ Will Not Vote For Him – Agree? (VIDEO)
With a failing presidential campaign, GOP hopeful Mitt Romney continues to misstep. With videos being released and edited, Romney is dealing with comments made telling his donors that almost half of all Americans “believe they are victims.” He also made a comparison that as the presidential hopeful that his job is not to worry about those people.
In the video, while promoting to big wallets, Romney admits that trying to appeal to about 47 percent of the U.S. voting populace is pointless because they’re looking for handouts and government to save them. He believes that he will never get their vote while joking that it would be easier if he was of a different ethnic background like a Latino.
After a news conference later on, Romney offered no apologies for his remarks. When asked if he was concerned if he had offended anyone, he replied that the remakes weren’t ‘‘elegantly stated’’ and they were spoken ‘‘off the cuff.’’
The Obama campaign has released a video where they asked people on the streets his or her thoughts about the comments. Many of the responses showed how in disbelief they were about the lack of concern. To see the video, click below:
