MUSED Magazine Online is the digital destination for lifestyle, entertainment & culture for modern black gay men. MUSED serves as a collective of experiences and issues we care about.
MUSED features commentary, opinions and features that raise awareness within our community. With new features every Tuesday, MUSED is the only weekly online magazine for black gay men. With a popular daily blog updated with the latest news/entertainment headlines, we continue to establish ourselves as a reliable source for our readers. This immersing content experience, which magazines are known for, allows new interactive features to stimulate reader engagement for young, progressive black gay men.
Currently, our editorial staff and contributors come from major cities: New York, Washington D.C., San Francisco, Atlanta, Chicago and Dallas. At the core, the vision enables MUSED to become a model for community and cultural enrichment with a lasting and measurable effect that promotes acceptance and appreciation for diverse voices. This vision allows MUSED to create a space that is united through lifestyle and cultural differences.
Since our launch in 2012, MUSED has been featured in the New York Times, Washington Post, Huffington Post and Logo Online’s AfterElton. This online magazine has also been the backdrop to college theses and classroom curriculum at prominent universities like Columbia University and University of Missouri’s School of Journalism.
